Our Canada Day was spent in amazing Jasper National Park (along with many, very large, hungry mosquitoes) where we had a front row view of the fireworks. Both Kevin and I set up our cameras on their tripods and I rigged up a wired remote to mine. Based on the setting recommendations from this Click it Up a Notch post, I prepped my ISO, shutter speed and aperture and waited for the show to begin so I could adjust accordingly. It was nice to have a starting point so I didn't waste too much time fiddling with my settings. Now, I just need to campaign for more fireworks celebrations throughout the year to get in more practice - why not celebrate Fridays or Don't Step on A Bee Day? (which is July 10th, if you were wondering).
