There is so much I could tell leading up to the creation of this piece, but for today I want to share that I am totally amazed at how the Creator of the universe (take a moment and soak in the wonder of how small you are in relation to the entire universe... seriously, take a moment...) is mindful of us and wants to be involved in every detail of our lives. I am floored at how He orchestrates things in my life in order to reveal Himself to me, lovingly teaching me and guiding me. Too bad I'm such a horrible student. Good thing He's patient. The many astonishingly intertwined events of this week inspired, "Consider the Lilies" - a clear message for me to stop toiling, stop spinning and trust that God is in control - no matter what. He's got this - He's got you - He's got me. It's not for me to figure it out and as much as I would like to understand the why's and how's I "just" need to let go.

Thank you, dear Melody! I love that this is one of your favourite passages. It definitely is a momentary battle, isn't it? I am certain that I could sit at your feet and have you teach me many things about trusting God.
