Last month the Wood Buffalo Photography Club was given the opportunity to explore Heritage Park, taking pictures of whatever inspired us. It's always interesting to me to see how differently photographers can view the same subject and how each of us were drawn to separate areas.
I was first drawn to the church and began shooting with a general purpose lens but it wasn't long before my macro lens took over. I wasn't sure what to expect after such horrible flooding in June but there were lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The overcast day gave way for beautiful lighting, perfect for photographing these pieces of history.
