Fort McMurray is an incredible land of opportunity. This constantly booming community has recognized the importance of growing the arts here and there are increasingly more options for working artists. I am grateful and blessed for the encouragement and support I have received.
The Redpoll Centre is one such blessing. This morning I was busy setting up an exhibit of 11 photographs in The Redpoll Centre - a building on Franklin Avenue that houses a variety of collaborative agencies and rents their conference space to the public. They have given me the gift of displaying my work in their conference room and I'm delighted to be able to share these pieces with them. (A special thank you and shout out to Danika Peddle, the friendly face you'll first see when you've climbed the stairs to the front desk!)
If you'd like to view the entire collection feel free to drop in - simply check their online calendar to ensure that the conference room is open. Their business hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and they are located across the street from Campbell's Music.
